Soul flight—

the northern wind

rasping in the dark

flitting like sunlit

on water

leaves the whirl

of broken night

  1. The poem takes on the spiral “feel” of a nebula – falling, rising, winding – starlight, windblown, beyond time, form, gravity, and space – a mission of suspense. Exhilarating!
