Quotes on the Road

Goodness, the busy-ness of life continues. The drive to Colorado begins on Sunday, and there’s so many people to see, things to do, places to see…it is both the sweetest wonder, and the saddest regret to look around and know all that I’ll leave behind–all that I will see. In honor of the journey to come, I thought it only appropriate this week (as next Monday I’ll be traveling, and while I hope to update, Quote of the Week will probably be on hiatus), to make our quotes revolving around traveling.

Enjoy the words of men far wiser than I!

“There are no foreign lands. It is the traveler only who is foreign.”
~ Robert Louis Stevenson

“Our battered suitcases were piled on the sidewalk again; we had longer ways to go. But no matter, the road is life.”
~ Jack Kerouac

  1. Safe journey Chris…and may your journey be filled with all sorts of ‘good’ and ‘wonderful’ things…and as is often said, “It is the journey, and not the goal, which is most important.” Take gentle care! Roger ☺
